First of all there are two mindsets I want to address. It’s almost like people don’t  realize that to make more money you have to PLAN to make more money.  Some people’s problem is their income, not their spending.  The idea I am trying to have us engage in is focusing on wealth creation and savings rather than consumption and luxury.  Is what you invest your time in making you money in the short term or wealth creation in the long term?  Just throwing the idea out there.
